double-action-scaffold-hook
Double Action Scaffold Hook

This connector is designed to link a worker's harness to a fall arrest system or anchorage point. It features a double action mechanism that requires two deliberate movements to open, reducing the chance of accidental release. The hook is made from plated steel with smooth edges to avoid catching on clothing or equipment. It is intended for use by one hand, allowing quick and secure attachment during tasks at height.

The device protects against falls by maintaining a secure link between the worker and the anchorage point when used as part of a compliant fall arrest system. It helps arrest a fall safely by absorbing energy through connection to a lanyard or similar device. Proper use reduces the risk of serious injury or death from elevated work platforms, roofs, or scaffolding. It must be inspected before each use and replaced after any fall event.

It is commonly used on construction sites, maintenance projects, and industrial settings where workers operate at height. The large opening enables attachment to various anchorage points such as beams, rails, or structural steel. Workers use it when moving between locations or securing themselves during prolonged tasks. Always follow AS/NZS 1891.4 guidelines for correct anchorage selection and strength requirements.

Plated steel construction with smooth edges

Double action gate for secure one-handed use

Large opening fits varied anchorage points

Connector net weight is 800 grams
