gripps-tool-tethers-must-be-used-mandatory-sign
GRIPPS "TOOL TETHERS MUST BE USED" Mandatory Sign

Construction sites and elevated work platforms where tools operate at height are the primary environment for this GRIPPS mandatory sign. The message "TOOL TETHERS MUST BE USED" addresses a direct fall-prevention requirement for crews working on scaffolding, structural steel or multi-level fit-outs. It belongs alongside other safety signs at access points, ladder bays and scaffold tags so the instruction is visible before a worker steps onto the deck.

Daily use is straightforward: mount the sign at eye level where tool belts are donned or where materials are hoisted. The white text on blue background is the recognised mandatory colour code, so the instruction reads instantly without interpretation. Supervisors avoid repeated verbal reminders; apprentices and subcontractors see the rule the moment they enter the zone. The sign reduces the risk of dropped tools striking personnel below and supports site-wide dropped-object prevention plans.

Construction sites, scaffolding access points, elevated work platforms, industrial maintenance zones.

Mandatory instruction: TOOL TETHERS MUST BE USED

White text on blue mandatory-sign background

Suits scaffold entries, ladder bays and hoist zones

Supports dropped-object prevention programs

Clear visibility for crews and subcontractors
