It is made from flexible rubber to ensure a secure and comfortable seal around the eye during use. The yellow dust cap helps keep the cup clean when not in use, preventing contamination from dust or particles. This part is intended for replacement in specific models of eyewash units manufactured from 2021 onward. It is not suitable for older units produced before that year. Proper maintenance of eyewash equipment ensures readiness in emergency situations.

The primary function of this cup is to deliver a controlled flow of water to flush harmful substances from the eye. It protects against irritants such as chemicals, dust, and foreign particles that may cause injury or discomfort. Immediate flushing is critical to reduce the risk of long-term damage following exposure. The cup’s design allows for quick and effective irrigation when activated. It works in conjunction with the eyewash station’s water supply to provide adequate rinsing time. Users should be trained to locate and operate the equipment without delay.

This spare part is used in workplaces where eye hazards are present, including laboratories, manufacturing plants, and maintenance facilities. It is installed on wall-mounted or pedestal eyewash units that meet safety standards. The yellow colour makes the cap easily visible for quick identification during inspections or emergencies. Regular checks should confirm the cap is intact and the cup is free from cracks or wear. Replacement is recommended if any damage is observed or after use in an actual incident. Keeping spare parts on hand supports compliance with safety regulations.

Spare rubber eyewash cup with yellow dust cap

Designed for eyewash units from 2021 onwards

Not compatible with pre-2021 models

Keeps the cup clean and ready for emergency use
