self-retracting-lifeline-with-wire-rope-2
Self Retracting Lifeline with Wire Rope

This device is a self retracting lifeline designed for use in high-risk environments where fall protection is essential. It features a wire rope that extends and retracts automatically to maintain constant tension during movement. The unit is built to withstand demanding conditions while remaining reliable and easy to operate. It includes a swiveling karabiner with triple action locking for secure attachment to harnesses. A carry strap handle allows for convenient transport and handling between job sites. The outer casing is made from high impact polycarbonate to resist damage from drops or impacts.

In the event of a sudden fall, an internal brake mechanism engages rapidly to arrest the descent and minimise forces on the user. This helps reduce the risk of injury by limiting fall distance and absorbing energy effectively. The lifeline remains under tension at all times, preventing slack that could lead to tripping or delayed activation. The load indicator provides visual confirmation of proper function and service status. These features work together to deliver consistent fall arrest performance when needed most.

It is suitable for use in construction, maintenance, industrial facilities and other settings where workers operate at height. The device conforms to recognised safety standards including EN 360:2023 and AS/NZS 1891.3, ensuring compatibility with Australian and New Zealand requirements. After an initial service-free period of up to five years, periodic inspections and maintenance are required in line with AS/NZS 1891.4. Each unit is sold separately and ready for immediate use upon deployment. Proper training and harness compatibility are essential for safe operation.

Automatic extension and retraction of wire rope lifeline

Internal brake activates during a fall to arrest descent

High impact polycarbonate outer casing for durability

Includes load indicator and triple action locking karabiner

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0610/4806/2081/files/self-retracting-lifeline-with-wire-rope-srlc20-1.jpg?v=1790508414
