shower-cap-pair-for-filter-use
Shower Cap Pair for Filter Use

The shower cap is a simple protective cover made to fit over the filter component of certain air-purifying respirators. It is intended for use as a pair, meaning two caps are included to cover both sides or units of the filter assembly. The design allows for easy placement and removal without tools, supporting quick maintenance in the field. It does not alter the filter’s function but shields it from direct water exposure.

Its primary purpose is to prevent water, steam, or liquid splashes from contacting the filter media, which could compromise its ability to capture airborne particulates or gases. By keeping the filter dry, the cap helps maintain consistent airflow and filtration efficiency during use in humid or wet conditions. This protection is especially important in environments where condensation or incidental water exposure is likely. The cap does not add filtration capability but preserves the existing performance of the filter.

It is typically used in industrial, maintenance, or cleaning settings where workers wear respirators and may encounter wet surfaces, spray applications, or high humidity. Common scenarios include washdown areas, food processing facilities, or maintenance tasks involving liquid cleaning agents. The cap is worn externally over the filter housing, secured by its elastic or friction fit. It is not intended for immersion or prolonged submersion but for short-term splash protection.

Protects filter from moisture and splashes

Designed for easy on-and-off use

Maintains filter efficiency in wet conditions

Sold as a pair for complete coverage

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0610/4806/2081/files/shower-cap-pair-for-filter-use-n750029-1.jpg?v=1790403484
