stainless-steel-foot-treadle-silver
Stainless Steel Foot Treadle Silver

This component is a foot-operated treadle designed for use with emergency safety shower and eyewash systems. It is constructed from durable stainless steel to withstand harsh industrial environments. The silver finish provides a clean, corrosion-resistant surface suitable for long-term use. It functions as a spare part for newer models of safety units manufactured from 2021 onward. Installation allows hands-free activation when workers need immediate decontamination. The treadle is engineered for reliable operation under pressure during emergency situations.

The treadle protects workers by enabling quick activation of emergency flushing systems when exposed to hazardous substances. It ensures immediate water flow to rinse chemicals, particulates, or irritants from the skin and eyes. This rapid response helps minimise injury severity in accidents involving corrosive or toxic materials. By allowing foot operation, it keeps hands free to manage clothing or assist others during emergencies. The mechanism is designed to trigger full shower and eyewash flow with minimal pressure. It supports compliance with workplace safety standards for emergency equipment readiness.

This part is used in laboratories, manufacturing plants, chemical processing facilities, and workshops where eye and body wash stations are required. It is fitted to wall-mounted or pedestal-mounted emergency units that deliver flushing fluid. The treadle is positioned at floor level for easy access during sudden exposure incidents. It is not compatible with older safety units produced before 2021 due to design changes in internal linkage. Proper installation ensures the treadle aligns correctly with the valve actuator. Regular inspection confirms it remains unobstructed and functional for immediate use.

Activates emergency shower and eyewash systems via foot pressure

Made from stainless steel with a silver finish for durability

Designed for safety units manufactured from 2021 onwards

Not compatible with pre-2021 models of emergency wash equipment
