This product maintains a pH level of 10.7 when prepared as a one per cent solution, providing the necessary alkalinity to counteract acidic substances. It is engineered to transform hazardous liquid spills into a stable form that allows for safer manual handling and subsequent non-hazardous disposal from the site.

This neutraliser is specifically designed to treat a variety of acidic chemical leaks. It is effective for managing spills involving methanoic acid, ethanoic acid, sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, and nitric acid. However, users must be aware that this powder is not suitable for the treatment of hydrofluoric acid spills, as that specific chemical requires a different neutralisation process to ensure safety.

To use this product, spread the powder directly over the affected area until the acid is fully neutralised. Users must wear appropriate personal protective equipment throughout the process to prevent the powder or the chemical from touching skin or clothing. It is also essential to ensure that any fumes released during the chemical reaction are not inhaled by the operator during the cleanup procedure.

PH level of 10.7

Neutralises various acidic chemicals

Facilitates non-hazardous disposal

Not for hydrofluoric acid
