Description and applications
These self locking danger tags provide a clear visual warning that machinery is out of service and must not be operated. They are used across industrial workshops, mining sites, and manufacturing plants to mark equipment undergoing repair or isolation, ensuring that no one attempts to restart a machine while a technician is still working on it.
Implementing a strict lockout tagout process reduces the risk of accidental energisation. These tags are applied directly to isolation points or power switches, creating a physical and visual barrier. By using a self locking mechanism, the tag stays firmly in place despite vibrations or movement, preventing it from falling off or being easily displaced. This provides site supervisors and operators with immediate confirmation of the equipment status, protecting the person performing the maintenance from unexpected machine startup.
Each tag measures 170x80mm and is constructed from self locking materials for secure attachment. These are supplied in packets of 25 to keep site safety supplies organised. This is a necessary addition for any facility managing heavy plant or electrical assets.
