The SMART Bandage provides the correct pressure-immobilisation required for snake bites, funnel-web spider bites, and cone shell stings, while also offering firm support for sprains or the ability to slow major bleeding. For more severe trauma, the included splint immobilises fractures to reduce further injury during transport. The kit also includes a tick spoon for removal, an emergency blanket to manage shock and cold, and a loud whistle to signal for help. This versatility ensures a single, palm-sized pouch covers a wide range of field emergencies.
The kit is housed in a water-repellent 600D ripstop Oxford polyester shell with YKK external zips and reinforced composite D-rings for secure attachment to belts or MOLLE gear.
