Description and applications
In high-risk environments like fabrication workshops, manufacturing plants, and construction sites, controlling hazardous energy is a non-negotiable safety requirement. These Danger blank tags provide a clear, physical warning system to notify personnel that equipment is under maintenance or isolated. They are essential components for any site implementing a strict lockout tagout regime to prevent the accidental energisation of machinery.
These tags allow site supervisors and technicians to write specific details regarding the isolation, such as the date, the authorised person's name, and the nature of the work being performed. By attaching these to isolation points, you reduce the risk of an unauthorised person attempting to restart a machine while another worker is still in the line of fire. The blank format ensures versatility across different tasks, meaning the same tag can be used for electrical boards, pneumatic valves, or hydraulic systems depending on the immediate need of the operator.
Each tag is manufactured from cardboard and measures 75x145mm. These are supplied in a packet of 25 units for consistent use across the facility.
