Description and applications
This is a single-use face shield designed to provide a barrier against liquid splashes and airborne particles. It is made from clear plastic and features an adjustable headband that fits a range of head sizes. The shield is supplied flat-folded for easy storage and quick assembly when needed. It is intended for occupational use where protection from fluid exposure is required. The product meets the splash resistance requirements of AS/NZS 1337.1:2010 Clause 3.3.4 and is included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. It is not designed to guard against impacts, flying debris or other mechanical hazards. Common users include staff in medical centres, retail customer service roles, police officers and pharmacists. The shield helps keep the face free from dirt, saliva, blood and other potentially infectious materials. It should be discarded after each use to maintain hygiene and effectiveness.
