The built-in amplification system safely increases ambient sound up to 82dB, delivering clear stereo audio for better directionality. When noise exceeds this level, the amplification automatically cuts off and the earmuffs switch to passive protection. This helps block harmful impulse and continuous noise while still allowing quieter sounds to be heard. The system ensures protection without isolating the user completely.

An external input port and included cord let users connect to personal audio devices such as two-way radios or music players. The folding design makes the earmuffs easy to store and transport when not in use.
