This storage unit is designed specifically for the safe containment of organic peroxides, whether in liquid or solid form. It meets Australian safety standards for handling reactive chemicals. The construction uses reinforced steel to resist corrosion and impact. Internal components are arranged to minimise risk during storage and access.
The cabinet protects against fire, heat transfer, and pressure buildup that can occur with unstable peroxides. Features include a self-closing door with controlled shutdown and pressure-sensitive release mechanisms. Ventilation points are fitted with flame arrestors to stop ignition from spreading. A liquid-tight base captures spills to prevent contamination.
