This cabinet is built for the secure containment of oxidizing substances that pose fire or reactivity risks. The unit includes two adjustable shelves mounted on a perforated galvanised steel frame, allowing flexible internal configuration. A liquid-tight sump at the base captures spills to prevent leakage and environmental contamination.

The cabinet protects against hazards associated with oxidizing materials such as spontaneous combustion, heat buildup and dangerous reactions with incompatible substances. Self-closing doors with adjustable hydraulic dampers ensure rapid shutdown in emergency situations. Overlapping door edges and a magnetic latch help maintain seals under pressure while allowing automatic release if internal pressure rises. Ventilation bungs with flame arresters allow safe gas dispersion without compromising containment.

It is used in settings where oxidizing chemicals like hydrogen peroxide, hypochlorites or nitrates are handled or stored, including school science labs, water treatment plants and chemical manufacturing areas.
