Description and applications
The Pelican Foam Set for the IM2720 is a pre-cut interior kit that turns an empty shell into an organised protective case. It supplies a base layer, convoluted lid foam and multiple pick-and-pluck layers so technicians can shape cavities around specific gear. The kit suits field service, survey, defence and broadcast crews who need equipment locked down during transport.
Each layer uses high-density polyurethane that resists compression set, so the foam springs back after repeated packing cycles. The pick-and-pluck grid lets you remove only the cubes required for each item, creating a tight friction fit that stops movement under vibration. A convoluted lid section adds cushioning on the top side, while the solid base layer protects the case floor from sharp edges. Because the foam is cut to the internal dimensions of the IM2720, there is no trimming or guesswork involved , just pluck, place and close the lid.
The set includes all layers needed to fill the IM2720 interior. It fits the pelican case exactly and supports custom load-outs for cameras, test instruments, firearms or tool kits.
