Description and applications
Preventing the accidental reactivation of electrical circuits is a primary safety requirement when working on a construction site or in an industrial workshop. This Pin Out Miniature Circuit Breaker Lockout is used to physically restrain MCBs, ensuring that power remains off while technicians perform maintenance or repairs on live equipment. It provides a physical barrier that stops switches from being flipped back to the 'on' position.
Implementing a strict lockout tagout procedure reduces the risk of electrical shock or unexpected machinery startup. This device is used by electricians and site supervisors to isolate specific circuits without needing to shut down an entire board. By securing the breaker in the off position, the operator can then attach a safety padlock and tags to signal that the line is under maintenance. This prevents other personnel from inadvertently energising the circuit, which protects the worker currently handling the wiring.
This specific set includes 3 pieces to manage multiple breakers across a single panel. The pin out design allows for a secure fit on miniature circuit breakers. This configuration is suited for high-traffic electrical rooms where multiple isolation points are required simultaneously.
