Polypropylene Corrosive Substance Storage Cabinet 80L

This storage unit is constructed entirely from white polypropylene, providing a seamless and durable enclosure for hazardous materials. The material resists degradation from strong acids and other aggressive chemicals commonly found in labs and workshops. All structural components, including walls, floor, roof and door, are made from the same 15mm thick polypropylene for uniform protection. The design avoids any metal parts internally or externally to prevent corrosion and contamination.

The cabinet features a single door with rebated edging that creates a flush front profile when closed. Spring tensioned hinges ensure the door closes automatically and latches securely via a handle that includes a key lock and internal release. A 150mm deep liquid tight sump at the base captures spills, preventing leakage onto floors or surrounding surfaces. All joints are plastic welded to maintain integrity and prevent weak points where chemicals could penetrate.

Inside, the cabinet includes one fixed bottom shelf and one adjustable shelf, both made from the same polypropylene material as the cabinet body. Shelf supports are also constructed from this material to maintain chemical resistance throughout. Ventilation provisions are included as a kit but are not pre-fitted, allowing installation based on site requirements. The unit is delivered palletised in protective cardboard packaging with all safety labels applied and four rubber feet included for stable placement.
