It protects against the risks associated with handling toxic chemicals such as cyanides, mercury, phenol, and trichloroethylene by containing vapours and preventing accidental exposure. The self-closing door with adjustable hydraulic closure ensures the cabinet shuts securely after use, minimising the chance of open storage. Overlapping door edges and a continual piano hinge enhance sealing and structural integrity, while flash arresters in the vents prevent flame propagation.
