Description and applications
Carrying a loaded pelican case by the side handle puts strain on the wrist and shoulder during long walks across a worksite or airport terminal. This dedicated strap removes that fatigue by shifting the weight onto the shoulder, leaving both hands free for tools, paperwork or climbing ladders. It is built for the 9480 and 9490 models used by technicians, photographers and defence personnel who move sensitive kit daily.
The strap clips into the moulded lugs on either end of the case body and adjusts through a metal buckle to suit different body heights and outerwear bulk. A non-slip pad sits against the shoulder to stop the load sliding when you bend or reach. Because the connection points are part of the case moulding, there is no hardware to loosen or rattle loose in transit. The webbing resists abrasion from rough clothing and sharp edges on site.
Fits Pelican 9480 and 9490 protective cases. Adjustable length with quick-release buckle. Padded shoulder section. Reinforced stitching at attachment loops.
