Polypropylene Corrosive Storage Cabinet

This storage unit is constructed entirely from thick white polypropylene, providing a durable and chemically resistant enclosure for hazardous materials. It features a seamless build with all panels, doors, and internal components made from the same non-metallic material. The design eliminates metal fittings to prevent corrosion and contamination. It is built to meet Australian safety standards for handling aggressive substances.

The cabinet offers secure containment for highly reactive chemicals such as sulphuric, hydrochloric, and nitric acids. Its liquid-tight sump at the base captures spills, reducing the risk of leaks or environmental exposure. Internal compartments allow for separation of acids and alkalis to prevent dangerous reactions. All joints are plastic welded to ensure integrity under harsh conditions.

Doors close automatically via spring tensioned hinges and latch securely with a key-operated handle that includes an internal release. Ventilation kits are provided for optional installation to manage vapour buildup. Shelves are adjustable and made from the same polypropylene, including supports, to maintain chemical resistance throughout. The unit is delivered palletised and labelled for immediate use in controlled environments.
