Single Leg Elasticated Lanyard with Hardware

This lanyard is designed as a single leg elasticated restraint device that extends to 1.85 metres under load. It incorporates an extended length energy absorber to reduce impact forces during a fall event. The webbing is constructed from high tenacity polyester yarn with UV resistance for outdoor durability. Stitching is performed using computer controlled bar tacking machinery to ensure consistent precision and strength. The unique THETA stitch pattern provides tensile strength matching the webbing, eliminating weak points in the assembly. Hardware components are drop forged for reliability and include a double action karabiner and a snap hook for secure attachment. The lanyard’s stretchable design minimises slack when not under tension, reducing trip and snag hazards in the workplace. It is engineered and manufactured in Australia to meet specific safety performance criteria. The product is certified to AS/NZS 1891.5:2020 for use in personal fall protection systems. Webbing tenacity is rated at 23kN, with the energy absorber designed to manage forces for users up to 140kg including tools. The THETA stitch pattern achieves equivalent strength to the webbing, ensuring uniform load distribution. All materials used are UV stabilised to maintain integrity under prolonged sun exposure.
