Description and applications
This lanyard is constructed from 12mm kernmantle rope with a two metre length and includes a built-in shock absorber to reduce fall arrest forces. It features a screw gate karabiner at one end and a double action scaffold hook at the other for secure attachment. The hardware is drop forged for strength and reliability in demanding conditions. The design incorporates an extended length energy absorber to manage impact energy during a fall.
The energy absorption system limits the force transmitted to the user during a fall event, helping to prevent injury. It is engineered to safely arrest falls for users carrying tools and equipment within the specified load range. The kernmantle rope construction provides durability and resistance to abrasion and environmental exposure. Stitching is performed using computer controlled bar tacking with UV resistant polyester thread for long-term integrity.
Intended for use in construction, maintenance, and industrial settings where fall protection is required. It is worn connected to a full body harness and anchored to a suitable point such as a scaffold or structural member. The D transition point on the lanyard allows for temporary stowage of the unused leg when used in twin leg configurations. The product is designed, engineered and manufactured to meet relevant safety standards for personal fall protection equipment.
