Swivel Mounting Arm

On scaffolding, tower cranes and exposed steelwork, a fixed tether point often forces a tool lanyard into a bind when the user moves around the structure. The Swivel Mounting Arm installs at the anchor location and lets the attachment rotate freely, so the line follows the worker instead of twisting or snagging on guardrails and brackets. This keeps the drop prevention system working as intended through a full shift of climbing, reaching and repositioning. The arm accepts a standard connector and mounts to tube, angle iron or flat plate with the hardware the crew already carries. Because the swivel action is mechanical rather than relying on a loose loop, the lanyard cannot wrap around the anchor point or foul on adjacent scaffolding tools. A rigger or scaffolder can clip in at the start of the climb and move between levels without stopping to untwist the line, which reduces fatigue and the temptation to unclip.
