Description and applications
This is a men's wet weather jacket built for high visibility and protection in demanding outdoor conditions. It features a traditional fit that allows ease of movement without restriction. The jacket is constructed from durable polyester with a polyurethane coating to resist water penetration. All seams are fully sealed to prevent leaks at stitch points.
It protects the wearer from heavy rain and wind while maintaining breathability to reduce internal moisture buildup. Reflective taping follows a hoop pattern across the torso and includes over-the-shoulder bands for 360-degree visibility. Biomotion taping on the sleeves enhances recognition of movement in low light. The fabric meets a waterproof rating of up to 20,000mm hydrostatic head.
Designed for rail industry use, it is worn on tracks, in yards, and during maintenance operations in wet conditions. A storm flap covers the front zipper and fastens with touch tape for added weather protection. A concealed hood is built into the collar and can be deployed when needed. An internal ID pocket and pen loop provide practical storage for small essentials.
The sleeve cuffs are adjustable using touch tape tabs to seal out wind and rain. The jacket has no lining, making it suitable for layering in variable temperatures. It is available in rail orange only, meeting specific industry visibility standards. The design prioritises function, safety, and comfort for extended wear in harsh weather.
