This is a single-use protective garment designed for environments where exposure to hazardous substances is a concern. It is constructed from a lightweight yet resilient fabric that allows air and water vapour to pass through, helping to manage heat buildup during extended wear. The design includes a three-panel hood that accommodates respirators and safety goggles without compromising fit or seal. Elasticated cuffs at the wrists and ankles create a barrier to prevent particulates from entering the garment.
The coverall offers defence against biological hazards such as blood, bodily fluids, and pathogens including viruses and bacteria. It also protects against dry particulates like asbestos, silica, and other fine dusts that pose respiratory risks. Limited resistance to liquid splashes shields the wearer from light exposure to hazardous chemicals or fluids. Anti-static properties, compliant with EN1149, reduce static charge accumulation, which is important in sensitive environments.
It meets EN 1073:2002 standards for protection against radioactive particulate contamination at level 1. The optimised cut enhances mobility and comfort while reducing strain on seams during activities like bending, kneeling, or crawling.
