Indalex 1.8m 180kg Rating Fibreglass Platform Ladder

Performing overhead electrical installations or maintenance in industrial plants requires a stable, non-conductive base to reduce the risk of shock. This platform ladder provides a secure elevated workspace for electricians and maintenance crews working in high-voltage environments or warehouses where safety is the primary concern. It is built to handle the rigours of a busy trade site while keeping the operator steady.

Using this equipment simplifies tasks that require both hands to be free, as the platform allows the user to move comfortably without constantly climbing up and down. The combination of fibreglass channels and structural-grade aluminium steps ensures the unit remains rigid under load. Because the side rails are UV resistant and the aluminium components are anodised, the gear resists corrosion and prevents dirt from transferring onto finished surfaces, which is essential for clean-room or food processing settings. This design means less time spent on equipment maintenance and more time focusing on the task at hand.

This Pro Series model features a 1.8m platform height and a 180kg load rating, weighing in at 20.0kg. With a footprint length of 159.0cm and a width of 76.0cm at both the front and rear feet, it offers a wide, stable base. These specifications make it a reliable choice for the overhead electrical installations mentioned previously.
