Star Aluminium 12-Step Aluminium Stair

Moving between levels on an active construction site demands a stable climbing solution that sets up fast and stays put under daily crew traffic. This 12-step aluminium stair replaces makeshift access points and reduces the risk of slips when workers carry tools or materials between decks, scaffolding bays or temporary floors. The stair format gives a more natural gait than a conventional rung ladder, so fatigue drops noticeably over repeated trips. Each tread features a non-slip surface that holds grip in dust, rain or light oil residue common around formwork and steel fixing areas. Aluminium construction keeps the unit light enough for two people to reposition without mechanical handling, yet rigid enough to resist flex when fully loaded. The wide stance and angled stringers distribute weight evenly on uneven ground, and the top landing provides a secure platform to step onto rather than straddling a top rung. For supervisors managing site safety plans, the stair configuration simplifies tool-box talks on safe ascent and descent compared with standard ladders. Twelve steps deliver approximately three metres of vertical reach, suiting single-storey slab-to-slab access or scaffold lift intervals. The unit suits civil contractors, commercial builders and maintenance crews who need compliant temporary access that can be relocated as the project progresses. Site managers specifying access equipment for the next phase should add this stair to the schedule.
