Description and applications
The Indalex TRDSF8D is a double-sided industrial fibreglass ladder built for high-reach tasks in electrical and industrial settings. It is a primary tool for electricians and maintenance crews working in warehouses or plant rooms where non-conductive materials are required to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This ladder provides a stable, dual-entry platform for accessing overhead fixtures from either side.
Daily use is made easier by the lightweight fibreglass construction, which allows a single operator to manoeuvre the unit across a workshop floor without excessive strain. The double-braced bottom steps add significant rigidity to the frame, preventing sway when the user is at height. To keep the workspace professional, anodised aluminium components are used to resist corrosion and minimise the transfer of dirt or marks onto finished walls and ceilings. The plated steel semi-tubular rivets ensure the joints remain tight under repeated loading, providing a secure feel for the tradesperson.
This Tradesman Series model stands 2.4m high with a 135.0kg load rating and weighs 14.0kg. It features a clear lacquer finish and a footprint length of 155.0cm for stability. This is the right choice for electrical contractors.
