Description and applications
This webbing sling is designed for use in height safety applications where fall arrest is required. It is constructed from high tenacity polyester webbing to provide reliable strength and durability. The sling meets the AS/NZS5532:2013 standard for safety equipment used in fall protection systems. It is intended for single person use including tools and equipment during work at height.
The sling protects the user by arresting a fall and limiting the forces exerted on the body during a fall event. It must be used with compatible shock absorbing lanyards or inertia reels connected to suitable structural anchors. Proper use reduces the risk of injury when working where a fall is possible. It is not a standalone device and requires correct integration into a full fall arrest system.
It is commonly used in roofing, scaffolding, and general construction environments where anchorage points are assessed and selected by the user. The sling forms part of a roofers kit or general fall arrest setup where users determine their own anchorage suitability. It is lightweight and flexible, allowing for ease of movement and universal application across various tasks. The product has a defined service life of ten years from the date of manufacture.
