Description and applications
This is a respiratory protection unit combining an organic gas filter with a permanently attached particulate prefilter. It uses a bayonet connector for secure attachment to compatible masks. The design is low profile and twin filter in configuration. No metal parts are present in the construction. It is certified to AS/NZS 1716 and EN143:2000 A1 standards. The filter is intended for use when both gases and particles are present in the air. It safeguards against organic vapours from substances with boiling points above 65 degrees Celsius. The P2 prefilter captures fine particles including dust and mists. It is commonly used during work with solvents, formaldehyde and asbestos removal. Applications include laboratory tasks, plastic production and both waterbase and oilbase painting. The unit comes as a pair and has a five year shelf life from manufacture date. It must be worn with the particle filter positioned ahead of the gas filter when both hazards exist. Suitable masks include silicone half and full face models with bayonet fittings.
- Combines A1 gas and P2 particulate filtration in one unit
- Bayonet connector allows secure and quick mask attachment
