Asbest PAPR with battery only

This is a battery-powered air purifying respirator designed for personal respiratory protection. It delivers filtered air to the wearer through a motor-driven blower unit. The system is built for continuous use in environments where airborne particulates pose a health risk. It operates without the need for external power sources during use.

It protects the wearer from inhaling hazardous dust, fibres and other particulate matter, including asbestos. The filtration system captures fine particles before they reach the breathing zone. Protection is maintained as long as the unit is powered and the filter is intact. It is not intended for use in oxygen-deficient atmospheres or against gases and vapours.

Commonly used during the removal or handling of asbestos-containing materials in buildings, it supports work in renovation, demolition and abatement projects. The unit can be attached directly to a compatible full face mask or worn on a belt with a hose connection. It allows for mobility while maintaining a consistent airflow. Decontamination after use is possible via shower rinsing of the external surfaces.
