Description and applications
This red lockout hasp lets a whole crew isolate one energy point together. Each worker adds a personal padlock to the hasp, and the hasp cannot be opened again until the last lock has come off, so the equipment stays dead until everyone has finished the repair or inspection.
The jaw has a 25mm diameter and fits over most switch and valve lockout points. It has room for up to six padlocks with shackles up to 9mm thick, which covers the common lockout padlocks used on Australian sites.
It is made from high tensile steel with a vinyl coating, and the steel is plated so it holds up against rust in workshops, plant rooms and outdoor switchboards. The red finish marks the point clearly as locked out. Sold as a single hasp.
