Description and applications
This red lockout hasp has a wide 38mm jaw for isolation points that are too large for a standard hasp, such as bigger valve handles and switch lugs. Each worker on the job adds a personal padlock, and the hasp stays closed until the final lock has been removed.
Up to six padlocks fit on the hasp, with shackles up to 9mm thick, so a full maintenance crew can share one isolation point without anyone being able to restart the equipment early.
The body is high tensile steel with a vinyl coating, and the steel is plated to resist rust, which suits plant rooms, workshops and outdoor switchboards. The red colour makes a locked out point easy to see. Sold as a single hasp.
