CA-40G Tunnelling Respiratory Kit

The kit includes a hard hat with integrated flip-up visor for eye and face protection. It features a powered air purifying respirator unit with high-capacity battery for extended use. A flexible hose connects the helmet to the respirator unit via a quick-lock fitting. All components are stored in a durable carry box when not in use.

The system protects the wearer from inhaling harmful dust, fine particles and airborne contaminants commonly found in underground work. It uses P3 particulate filters and can accept combined gas and particulate cartridges when needed. The respirator delivers clean air at adjustable flow rates to suit varying work conditions. This ensures reliable respiratory defence in dusty or poorly ventilated areas.

Designed for use in tunnelling, mining, smelting and heavy industry applications, it is suited to dark, confined spaces. The helmet accepts a cap lamp for visibility in low-light conditions. Reflective tape on the helmet improves wearer visibility in dim environments. The respirator unit can be worn on a waist belt or backpack harness for comfort during long shifts.
