It is a secure storage unit designed for Class 4 hazardous materials in either liquid or solid form. The cabinet features two self-closing doors with adjustable hydraulic closures for controlled access. A single perforated shelf provides internal organisation and can be adjusted in 45mm increments. The unit includes a liquid-tight sump at the base to contain spills.
It protects against fire, heat transfer, and pressure buildup from reactive substances. Overlapping door edges and a flash-arresting vent system help prevent ignition and flame propagation. Magnetic door catches ensure doors stay shut but release automatically if internal pressure rises. An external earth connection and bonding wire reduce static discharge risks.
It is used in workshops, laboratories, and industrial facilities where Class 4 chemicals are handled. The under-bench profile allows placement beneath work surfaces to save floor space. Vent bungs with steel caps allow controlled vapour release while maintaining safety. The cabinet is delivered palletised in protective cardboard for safe transport.
