Description and applications
A snap-lock hammer holster built for technicians working at height on construction sites, roofing jobs and tower maintenance. The pouch secures a claw hammer to a fall arrest harness so the tool stays with the worker instead of becoming a dropped object hazard. It sits alongside other ppe supplies such as safety glasses and a hard hat in a height safety kit.
The stainless snap-lock strap engages with one hand and holds the hammer head firmly through vibration and sudden movement. Two load-rated D-rings give a choice of tether points so the lanyard runs clean without twisting. The moulded polymer shell resists impact and UV exposure while adding minimal weight to the harness, reducing fatigue during long shifts on steel or concrete structures. A rigger can clip in, work a full day and unclip without fumbling.
The holster weighs only grams yet each D-ring is rated for the loads encountered in fall arrest scenarios. Suited to exposed roof edges, scaffold decks and elevated work platforms where a falling hammer puts people below at risk.
