Description and applications
This rescue splint is constructed from polypropylene, allowing it to remain flexible when stored flat yet stiffen securely when wrapped around a casualty. It supports safe handling by a single rescuer during emergency evacuations. The design includes padded, adjustable foot straps to maintain comfort and positioning. It enables both vertical and horizontal lifting configurations depending on the rescue scenario. For vertical lifts, the splint features dedicated head and foot loops to ensure stable hoisting. Side-mounted loops are intended for use by two to four rescuers during horizontal lifts. The top strap can be adjusted to create a conical shape, improving containment and support during transport. Weighing 5.48 kilograms, it is sold as a standalone unit for immediate deployment.
