Description and applications
This 500ml bottle of sterile saline, a 0.9% sodium chloride solution, is for flushing the eyes after dust, grit or other foreign material gets in. It is kept ready for emergencies in workshops, labs, vehicles and first aid stations.
The cap twists off in one motion, and an integrated eye shower on the bottle directs the flow onto the affected eye. Squeezing the bottle produces a steady stream that carries loose particles out of the eye.
A bracket is supplied so the bottle can be fixed to a wall within quick reach, although mounting screws are not included. The bottle is shrink wrapped to keep the eye shower and bracket together, and it is made for single use. It measures 7.5cm across and 20.5cm tall.
