This self retracting lifeline features a 20-metre galvanised cable housed in a lightweight composite casing. It includes a screw karabiner at the unit top and a 19mm snap hook with a built-in fall indicator. The design incorporates dual swivels to prevent twisting during use and an ergonomic moulded handle for easier handling. Internal components are made from corrosion resistant materials to enhance durability in harsh environments.

The device protects workers from serious injury or death due to falls from height by arresting a fall within a short distance. It limits fall forces through controlled cable payout and smooth spring retraction, reducing impact on the body. The fall indicator on the snap hook provides a visual signal when the unit has experienced a fall and must be removed from service. This helps maintain safety compliance without requiring annual factory recertification.
