Description and applications
This very small, portable bin is for used needles and other sharps from first aid or personal use. It is a sensible choice for first aid kits, vehicles and travel bags, where a full size bin would be too bulky but used needles still need a safe place to go.
It is made in Australia from high-density polyethylene. The walls resist impact, crushing and needle penetration, and the lid screws on and can be reopened and sealed again. The nominal capacity, or safe usable space, is 120ml.
A standard warning label is already fitted, and the container is made to conform to AS4939:2001. It is a slim round tube, 146.8 high with a 44 diameter, in millimetres.
