Description and applications
Cleaning the skin around an injury is a routine part of first aid, and alcohol swabs make it quick. These wound wipes suit workplaces, schools, clubs, vehicles and home first aid kits, and work as a top-up for a kit that has used its wipes.
Each wipe is soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol and cleans and disinfects the skin in and around the wound. The disinfecting action helps prevent bacterial infection. Because every wipe is packed in its own sachet, one can be opened at a time while the others stay sealed.
A pack holds 10 swabs. They come in Fast Aid's colour coded retail box, which has an easy-to-open perforated front, and the pack can also be used as a refill for Fast Aid Easy-Refill first aid kits.
