Description and applications
The D2 combine dressing is a large, thick pad for serious bleeding and big wounds, where a standard plaster or small gauze square will not cope. It suits workplace first aid kits, site vehicles, workshops and home kits that need a proper pad for heavier injuries.
Each pack holds 2 dressings measuring 10 x 20cm. They are made from soft, thick cotton that soaks up a lot of fluid, helping to control bleeding while it protects the wound and lowers the risk of infection. Each dressing is sealed in a sterile wrapper that opens easily.
The dressings are boxed in Fast Aid's colour coded retail packaging with a perforated opening, so the pack is quick to open. They can also be used as a refill for Fast Aid Easy-Refill first aid kits, which makes replacing a used item simple.
