Description and applications
The R1 Remote Vehicle kit is made for work vehicles carrying 1 to 10 people that operate in remote areas, such as civil, construction, trades and transport crews. It is listed with the TGA under registration 128314.
Inside are plasters, bandages, gauze, wound wipes, closure strips, burn gel, saline eye wash ampoules, gloves, scissors, forceps, splinter probes, a cold pack, a thermal blanket and a resuscitation face shield. Extras for remote areas include an LED torch, a whistle with lanyard, and a second whistle with a built-in compass and thermometer. A bite guide covers snakes and spiders, with colour photos to identify them and steps for treatment, and the contents are colour coded for faster selection.
The blue soft pack is a medium sized case made from tough, water-resistant backed fabric, with fold out compartments to keep the contents organised.
