Description and applications
The Suction Aspirator is a lightweight, portable suction unit for emergencies where a patient's mouth needs clearing. It works as a mucus extractor and can also remove larger amounts of fluid or particles. It suits oxygen therapy kits, and it is meant to be used by people who are trained in suction and oxygen therapy.
It runs on a venturi suction system. The pressure from your medical oxygen supply drives it, so no separate pump or electric supply is needed, and it fits in as one part of an oxygen therapy kit.
The aspirator comes with a 200mm hose assembly and a suction canister. The receiver jar holds 200mL, and the supplier advises not to fill it past 130mL.
