Flexatex Chem Apron

This apron is constructed from a specialised polyester tricot knit with a breathable polyurethane coating, providing a balance of durability and comfort. The fabric is engineered to resist water penetration while allowing moisture vapour to escape, making it suitable for extended wear. It features a wipe-clean surface that simplifies maintenance after exposure to spills or contaminants. The material maintains its integrity under repeated use due to high tear and tensile strength properties.

It offers protection against liquid chemical splashes, including resistance to 10% sodium hydroxide solutions, and is certified to meet EN 13034 Type PB [6] standards for limited-use chemical protective clothing. The antifungal treatment helps prevent microbial growth on the fabric surface, enhancing hygiene in damp environments. Water beads away from the material due to its eco-friendly Texpel Splash Eco finish, which is free from PFAS substances. These properties combine to ensure reliable defence in hazardous liquid handling scenarios.

Designed for practical use, the apron includes adjustable straps that allow for a secure and customisable fit across different body types. It is windproof and water resistant, making it effective in outdoor or ventilated indoor workspaces where exposure to elements is a concern. The retail-ready packaging supports point-of-sale presentation without requiring additional handling. Care instructions specify a maximum wash temperature of 40°C, with line drying recommended and bleaching, tumble drying, ironing, or dry cleaning prohibited to preserve performance.
