Description and applications
Dropped tools create immediate danger for anyone working below and interrupt the job every time something falls. This tether keeps hand tools secured to the user or a fixed anchor point so the tool stays in reach and off the ground. It is built for daily use on scaffolding, elevated work platforms, tower cranes and rooftop access where a falling spanner or drill becomes a serious incident.
The bungee construction stretches under load and retracts cleanly, reducing snag points while the operator moves around structure. A triple-action carabiner requires three distinct movements to open, so accidental release is unlikely even when gloves are worn or the gate brushes against steel. One end clips to the tool lanyard point or a retrofit attachment, the other to a harness D-ring, belt loop or structural anchor. The system works alongside other ppe supplies such as safety glasses, nitrile gloves and a hard hat without interfering with movement or adding bulk.
