The GRIPPS Screwlock Cable is a compact tool lanyard built to tether hand tools at height. Each unit uses a 3 mm diameter steel cable measuring 120 mm end to end, terminated with a stainless steel screwgate carabiner that locks positively under load. The five pack lets a crew outfit multiple workers or spares across a shift without opening separate cartons.
On site the short length keeps the tether tight to the harness or structure, reducing snag points on scaffold tubes, guardrails or pipework. The screwgate action requires a deliberate twist to open, so vibration from impact drivers or hammer drills will not release the gate accidentally. Workers clip the carabiner to a tool handle or dedicated attachment point, then connect the opposite end to a rated anchor on their harness or a fixed structure. The low profile suits confined access work where longer lanyards would foul adjacent equipment.
