This welding jacket is designed for medium duty applications where protection from heat and sparks is essential. It is constructed from a 350gsm cotton drill that has been treated to resist ignition and flame spread. The material allows airflow to help keep the wearer cool during extended use. The design focuses on durability and comfort without compromising safety standards.
It covers the upper body and arms against the sparks and spatter of medium duty welding. The fabric carries a flame resistant Pyrovatex treatment. Reflective elements are integrated into the trim to improve visibility in low light conditions. This makes it suitable for use in dimly lit workshops or outdoor sites at dawn or dusk.
The jacket features a rear flap that accommodates a safety harness, allowing secure attachment when working at height. Sleeves are reinforced with leather and stitched with high strength thread for added resistance to abrasion. A front closure combines a heavy duty zip with a protective flap and buttons to prevent heat ingress. The extended collar provides additional coverage for the neck and jaw area against sparks.
