Daily use is straightforward: press the automatic pressure-equalisation valve to relieve vacuum after altitude or temperature changes, then lift the double-throw latches with a gloved hand. The open interior accepts custom foam inserts or padded dividers so each instrument sits in a dedicated pocket, preventing movement during transport over corrugated roads. A moulded-in hinge and stainless-steel hinge pins keep the lid aligned after repeated opening cycles, while the integrated padlock points allow a security cable or combination lock for overnight storage in shared site containers.
