Description and applications
Asbestos removalists and maintenance technicians require reliable barriers when handling hazardous materials. These orange SMS coveralls provide a dedicated layer of protection for workers in high-risk environments, such as industrial workshops or contaminated sites. As a staple of essential ppe supplies, these suits are designed to keep contaminants off the skin and clothing during demanding cleanup or installation tasks.
The breathable fabric allows air and water vapour to permeate the material, which helps reduce the risk of heat stress during long shifts in warm Australian conditions. Unlike stiffer protective gear, the tailored suit design improves mobility and dexterity, allowing the wearer to bend, reach, and manoeuvre through tight spaces without the fabric restricting their movement. This ensures that technicians can focus on the precision of the task while remaining shielded from fine dust and liquid splashes.
These Type 5/6 coveralls are proven to filter 100% of particles larger than 3 microns. They are rated to EN ISO 13688 and are supplied in a bulk pack of 50 units in size medium.
